Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a key part in managing human resources initiatives that align with organizational goals while enhancing employee engagement and operational effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with leadership and staff to oversee recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance, and development. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate interviews, and selection procedures, all while prioritizing diversity and compliance. u2022 Provide guidance and support to employees and leadership on performance management, workplace culture, and conflict resolution. u2022 Administer and maintain compensation structures, salary schedules, and performance evaluation processes to ensure equity and competitiveness. u2022 Interpret and enforce HR policies, employment laws, and labor agreements, fostering consistent and fair practices. u2022 Design and implement employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving retention and workplace satisfaction. u2022 Collaborate with leadership to identify development needs and deliver effective training programs. u2022 Analyze workforce data and generate HR reports to support strategic decision-making. u2022 Maintain the confidentiality and accuracy of personnel records while ensuring compliance with best practices. u2022 Contribute to the modernization of HR systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Review and update job descriptions to reflect current roles and organizational requirements. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of one year of experience in HR requiring attention to detail; experience in public sector or union environments is advantageous. u2022 Strong knowledge of HR principles, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and compliance. u2022 Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and equity. u2022 Proficient in HRIS systems and workforce data analysis. u2022 Demonstrated ability to resolve employee relations issues and conduct investigations effectively. u2022 Solid analytical and decision-making capabilities to address complex HR challenges. u2022 Passion for fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
