Apply comprehensive expertise to design, implement, configure, and optimize physical and virtual systems that enable mission-critical operations. Serve as a technical authority across multiple system assignments, supporting integration efforts and ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and governance standards. May supervise engineering teams to deliver secure and resilient solutions. Key Responsibilities: + Plan and lead system architecture activities, including design, implementation, and optimization of physical and virtual environments. + Evaluate system performance and recommend major changes to improve reliability, scalability, and mission readiness. + Support system integration activities, ensuring interoperability with DoD-approved platforms and compliance with security requirements. + Function as a technical expert in system engineering methodologies, guiding teams in best practices for configuration and performance tuning. + Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to align system solutions with DoD and USACE mission objectives. + Ensure adherence to DoD cybersecurity frameworks, NIST standards, and RMF compliance throughout all system operations. + Supervise system engineering teams and manage resource allocation for complex infrastructure projects.
