The Systems Architect is responsible for architecture design, implementation, and support lifecycles of enterprise core systems. This position is highly technical and requires skills in a variety of competencies. The individual in this role will collaborate with various teams to solve complex problems, enable the business, and implement strategies to enhance IT infrastructures. u2022 Work activities, updates, notes, and resolutions must be documented in the Enterprise ticketing system.u2022 Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for systems.u2022 Implement high risk changes using discipline and precision to avoid unnecessary outages.u2022 Knowledge of PCI DSS and implementation of controls to meet audit requirements.u2022 Ability to adapt quickly and implement technologies to changing business needs.Basic Qualifications:Education and Experience: Bachelors in IT or related field and 5 years of related experience or HS/GED and 9 yearsu2022 Manage engineering updates to support documentation, policies, procedures, and diagrams.u2022 Define requirements and review vendor statement of work for various IT related projects.u2022 Perform maintenance and notify applicable parties of maintenance activities.u2022 Upgrade, migrate, or replace platforms before end of support is reached.u2022 6+ years of experience managing on premise private cloud and/or public cloud virtual infrastructures.u2022 Expert knowledge of hyper-converged platforms and other storage related technologies.u2022 Experience with various threat protection platforms and web application firewalls.u2022 Expert knowledge of firewalls, switches, routers, and software defined networks.u2022 Experience with site reliability engineering and chaos engineering principals.u2022 Expert knowledge of applications, servers, and middleware platforms.u2022 Experience with scaling systems horizontally and vertically.u2022 Expert knowledge of enterprise systems and platforms.u2022 Expert knowledge of load balancing technologies.u2022 Change management process experience.Preferred Qualifications:Education and Experience: Bachelors and 5 years u2022 Passion for private/public cloud infrastructures, learning new technologies, and continuous growth. u2022 Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner. u2022 Excellent written and in-person communication skills.u2022 Ability to work remotely as required by the position. u2022 Can-do attitude delivering IT as a service (ITaaS).u2022 Provide 24x7x365 on-call rotation support. u2022 High energy and a sense of urgency.
