JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Provides lead level support for team supporting integrated behavioral health/chemical dependency services and long-term care for members with high-need potential. In collaboration with multidisciplinary care team working across the continuum, strives to ensure member progress toward desired outcomes and contributes to overarching strategy to provide quality and cost-effective member care. Essential Job Duties u2022 Provides behavioral health subject matter expertise and support to healthcare services team, local behavioral health department(s), behavioral health/community agencies, providers, other internal departments/stakeholders and members as needed. u2022 Facilitates member screening and outreach, collects, interprets, and utilizes data, operationalizes regulations, and engages in various collaborative efforts related to increasing behavioral health access and sharing behavioral health resources and expertise. u2022 Consults with healthcare services leadership in regard to behavioral health programs/processes to devise and implement actions as necessary to meet regulatory and best practice standards. u2022 Acts as resource to healthcare services staff facilitating behavioral health programs/processes and supports communications and coordination of behavioral health activities. u2022 Resolves barriers to behavioral health access through strategic collaboration. u2022 Assists in behavioral health-related training of healthcare services staff according to department standards, policies, and procedures. u2022 Collaborates with and keeps healthcare services leadership apprised of behavioral health systems/processes and program needs. u2022 Generates reports and uses data in meaningful ways to promote adherence of behavioral health regulations/access improvements for behavioral health services. u2022 Assists care managers and may maintain a caseload for triage and service linkage. u2022 Acts as liaison internally and externally on behalf of both Molina and healthcare services in relation to behavioral health programs/process. u2022 Attends/participates in behavioral health-specific departmental, company-wide, and external committees, task forces or work groups as assigned. u2022 Local travel may be required (based upon state/contractual requirements). Required Qualifications u2022 At least 4 years health care experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. u2022 Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Registered Nurse (RN) license with behavioral health experience. If licensed, license must be active and unrestricted in state of practice. Clinical licensure and/or certification required ONLY if required by state contract, regulation or state board licensing mandates. u2022 Demonstrated knowledge of community resources. u2022 Proactive and detail-oriented. u2022 Ability to work within a variety of settings and adjust style as needed - working with diverse populations, various personalities and personal situations. u2022 Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-motivation. u2022 Responsive in all forms of communication, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. u2022 Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships. u2022 Excellent time-management and prioritization skills, and ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to change. u2022 Excellent problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills. u2022 Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency. Preferred Qualifications u2022 Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Registered Nurse (RN) license. u2022 Clinical practice experience with a behavioral health entity or managed care organization. u2022 Experience in discharge planning, home health or transitional care. u2022 Knowledge of National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) requirements related to behavioral health conditions. u2022 EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system experience. u2022 Telehealth experience. u2022 Experience with underserved populations facing socioeconomic barriers to health care. u2022 Bilingual.
