Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description The Maintenance Technician will oversee maintenance operations in an automotive or stamping environment, ensuring machinery reliability and performing complex mechanical/electrical repairs to keep production equipment running efficiently. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain stamping presses, hydraulic presses, or similar equipment. + Perform routine preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all systems and equipment. + Conduct scheduled servicing of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to avoid breakdowns. + Execute mechanical repairs to hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and minor fabrication. + Diagnose failures in motors, pumps, compressors, chillers, boilers, and production equipment. + Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stamping presses and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. + Assist with die changes, press adjustments, and tooling alignment. + Replace defective parts, align machinery, and restore equipment to optimal performance. + Support press operators during setup, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. + Work through issues with stamping machines, dies, presses, and robotics, emphasizing testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments. Essential Skills + 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance with lead experience. + Proficiency in troubleshooting, blueprint reading, hydraulic systems, electrical maintenance, and press maintenance. + Experience with 3-phase systems, pneumatics, welding, maintenance repair, and preventive maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 4+ years in industrial or electrical maintenance. + Vocational training or certifications in mechanical/electrical maintenance preferred. + Hands-on expertise with stamping presses, hydraulic presses, or similar heavy machinery preferred. + Skilled in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools. + Capable of working in close teams with operators, technicians, and engineers. Work Environment Training until January 5, 2026, on day shift 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday, transitioning to night shift from 10:30 pm - 7:00 am, Monday - Friday, with potential overtime. Work in a new, clean manufacturing facility in the stamping department with highly automated press equipment. Steel toes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and high-vis vest required. Appropriate attire includes jeans or work pants (no holes, rips, shorts, or leggings) and plain colored shirts without vulgar language, images, or contraband. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Stanton, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
