This opportunity is your chance to work hand in hand with the Northeast water team and work on multi-disciplined water projects.Responsibilities Include:u2022Facilitate our strategy and business growth and work with a very skilled and well-established team.u2022Rely on your demonstrated experience in delivering projects, winning work, and collaborating with others to strengthen our market growth.u2022Provide technical leadership and oversee all aspects of water design projects including design and construction of infrastructure projects, quality of engineering work performed, and client satisfaction.u2022Coordinate activities of design engineers, technicians, and field staff to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget.u2022Act as a mentor to aid in the growth of our junior staff.u2022Work closely with Jacobs Client Account Managers and Operations teams in pursuit of water opportunities in the area.u2022Advance long-term existing relationships with water clients in region at the state, city and county levels, leading the development of execution strategies, and supporting proposal and presentation preparation activities. Qualifications:u2022Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other related engineering fieldu2022Eight (8) to Ten (10) years of relevant experienceu2022License as a Professional Engineer in CTu2022Significant experience associated with the water market sectoru2022Demonstrated track record of coordinating teams and winning worku2022High level existing contacts and strong relationships with public clients, special districts, and private clients. Experience in stakeholder relationship development and managementIdeally,youu2019ll also have:u2022Masteru2019s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent.u2022Thorough technical background/experience in delivering or managing large Water projects or programs is considered a positive and adds credibility in consulting, engineering, construction industry service offerings and delivery.u2022The ability to set a vision and strategy, coach/mentor and motivate the team, reach within Jacobs to offer best-in-class solutions, manage commercial and legal negotiations, and close deals.u2022Established local client relationships along with an understanding of policies and procedures of these agencies.Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
