VCA Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Shelton, CT . CSR Swing Shift Schedule : Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The Position: The position requires a person who is self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. The receptionist position will be responsible for greeting clients, answering phones, and directing calls to the appropriate person. The receptionist position will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and performing administrative tasks as needed. Requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Minimum of two years of experience in a veterinary setting preferred. + Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. + Must be able to work from home on occasion. + Must be comfortable working with animals (cats and dogs) and have experience handling pets of any size. + Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
