Description Speech Language Pathologist - Providence Home Health Schedule: Per Diem/On Call, Day Shift Area Coverage: Salem, Albany, Turner, Dallas, West Salem, Lebanon, Corvallis, Philomath, as other as assigned Job Description: The Speech Therapist manages and provides skilled speech/language pathology to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential. Required qualifications: + Master's Degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program OR Ph.D. from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program + Coursework/Training and Specialized speech/language pathology training to meet a particular department need. + Upon hire: Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License + Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association + Occasionally a position will require specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a particular department need.
