Your Role Accountabilities + Will learn about asset management policies, including writing descriptive narratives of visuals, writing abstracts for editorial context, and how to add accurate and complete metadata to key database fields. + Will learn to apply indexing terms using the archive's controlled vocabulary to enable quick and accurate retrieval of archive assets. + Will learn to mine for metadata in various newsroom systems or provided by production units involved with the creation of the content. + Projects involve the processing of videotape collections. Qualifications & Experience + Possess a keen interest in journalism and the news industry. + Be a self-starter who can work independently and creatively, and readily adapt to an ever-changing work environment. + Have superior organizational skills, sublime attention to detail, and excellent current events awareness. + Have stellar written and verbal communication skills. + Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required) + Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student (18 years or older) + Please change the posting if the team is only approved for / accepting undergrad applicants + Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended. + Warner Bros.
