Job Title Regional Workplace Manager Job Description Summary As a key member of a global team, responsible for service delivery and ownership of the appropriate defined geographical region of the Clientu2019s estate, ensuring services are delivered to agreed contractual service quality, commercial and compliance requirements. Job Description Leadership 1. To be the visible leader of the Workplace team across the defined geographical region of the portfolio. 2. To own and be accountable for the working environments within the region, to ensure a consistent high quality workplace experience for colleagues and visitors at all times. 3. Line management of the Workplace Managers across the region, ensuring full compliance with both C&W processes and expectations and Sage requirements as these may change from time to time. 4. To understand and live the Sage values at all times, to be able to articulate what they mean and how they are applied in the execution of RWM responsibilities, and to ensure that all members of the regional team are able to do the same. 5. To understand, commit to, uphold and be able to articulate the Operating Principles of the C&W-Sage contract. 6. To understand Sage priorities globally and as they apply to the region. 7. To understand and be able to articulate the vision for u2018next generationu2019 Sage workplaces being delivered throughout the portfolio. 8. To ensure the resources deployed in the region are appropriate at all times, and where adjustments are required to provide an evidenced case to the Sage Workplace Director for the region. 9. To ensure that all direct reports have in place a measurable Development Plan identifying a clear career path and how to achieve it. 10. To raise any matters of non-compliant performance and conduct of the C&W team in the region with line management and/or the C&W Human Resources, collating and providing evidence as required. Supply chain 11. To ensure all third party services are delivered to the commitments of the global contract. 12. To recommend changes to third party supplier arrangements where service quality, commercial or compliance matters are compromised. Service quality 13. To visit all locations within the region a minimum of once per month. 14. To establish and maintain relations with key Sage colleagues in the region, as the trusted source of assistance and support as required. 15. To provide an effective and responsive service to remotely managed locations, leveraging the supply chain where possible. 16. To regularly interact with fellow RWMs in other regions and to identify and share innovations with the RWM network for the benefit of the global contract. 17. To manage the 9-point Key Performance Indicator (KPI) system for the region u2013 based on colleague, commercial and compliance u2013 and provide management reporting as required. 18. To effectively manage minor works as directed by Sage and ensure that the appropriate resources are deployed in each case. 19. To ensure that all Workplace Guides (full services directory) for locations across the region remain up to date at all times. 20. To work closely with the Sage IT team to ensure a seamless service across the region in areas such as access and security, visitor management, desktop IT, network availability and reprographics. 21. To engage with the C&W published Research & Insight material and webinars to ensure access to evolving best practice in workplace management and as a contribution to continuous improvement in the role. Commercial 22. To effectively and diligently manage cost against budget for the region, reporting as required, and identifying potential cost savings opportunities when they arise. 23. To identify any risks or threats to meeting budget as soon as they are known. Compliance 24. To effectively and diligently manage commercial risk in the region, maintaining an up to date register, as required to minimize and mitigate the potential effects of known and unforeseen risks. 25. To effectively and diligently manage health and safety in the region, minimizing or removing the potential for lost time incidents, completing all required audit requests, and liaising with specialist colleagues are required to deliver the service. 26. To ensure all Sage workplaces comply with defined foundation standards (u2018Sage Workplaceu2019) using the assessment tool as directed, reporting and costing upgrades where required to maintain alignment. 27. To effectively and diligently manage sustainability within the region as directed by Sage. 28. To effectively and diligently manage the regional requirements of the Sage Business Continuity Programme (BCP) within the region.
