*Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk** **Job Description** The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments without the use of powered industrial trucks such as forklifts. This role ensures that all goods are properly documented, organized, and prepared for storage or distribution while maintaining safety and efficiency in the warehouse. The candidate must be willing to learn how to operate forklifts. **Responsibilities** + Receive and unload incoming shipments manually or with pallet jacks and hand trucks. + Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing slips, or invoices. + Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. + Accurately record received items in warehouse management systems (WMS). + Tag, label, and organize products for storage or distribution. + Move and stage materials using non-powered equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and dollies. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area. + Collaborate with inventory control and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. + Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines. **Essential Skills** + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Familiarity with warehouse operations. + Proficiency with computers and warehouse management systems. + Experience working with Bills of Lading (BOLs). + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Willingness to learn forklift operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience using RF Scan guns. + Ability to perform picking and put-away tasks. + Experience with sit-down forklifts and reach trucks is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a great company with a fantastic culture and be part of a team in a clean warehouse environment.
