Apply now BlendingLead Responsibilities: - Weigh ingredients; handle bulk cartons, sacks,loaded carts and pallets - Blend and package tea and botanicals; operateBlending Machine and Mini Mixer - Execute, complete and verify assignedblending jobs - Lead and direct a crew of 24 Blenders; coordinate dailyblending activities - Train Blending Team members and monitor workquality - Set daily blending schedule with Scheduling Supervisor -Coordinate and communicate with Warehouse Department - Ensureprocedures, preventive maintenance and paperwork accuracy - Followwritten and oral instructions; review and sign all blending ordersbefore and after production - Match product names, item codes and lotcodes correctly; distinguish and segregate ingredients properly - Serveas backup to Blending Technician as needed - Meet or exceed dailyproduction goals - Maintain a sanitary, organized work area; cleanbefore, during, and after each job - Follow production guidelines, foodmanufacturing, facility safety rules, and Rishi Tea food safetyprotocols OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - 1+ yearexperience in a fast-paced production environment - Ability to read andmatch long sequences of letters/numbers - Basic English verbalunderstanding - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - 2+ yearsof production and/or leadership experience preferred - Food safetytraining; experience with organic/certified food-safe facilitiespreferred - Able to lift up to 55lbs repeatedly - Able to climb stairand ladders - Able to wear respirator mask APPLICATIONINSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: Apply Online:This position is listed by aprivate employment agency.
