Overview Job Summary Details: The Lead Cashier is accountable for cash and electronic transactions. Pay Rate : $16.00 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 No high school diploma, GED or college degree required u2022 No experience required and on-the-job- training is provided Preferred Qualifications: u2022 One (1) Year of prior customer service or similar experience preferred Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee all cashiers to make sure work is completed appropriately u2022 Accept accountability for cash transactions u2022 Assure all transactions are accounted for correctly u2022 Train new associates on Point of Sale (POS) systems u2022 Count down cash drawer with previous shift lead present to ensure accurate counts and reporting u2022 Check in with cashiers, no less than once an hour, for drops and change needs u2022 Provide customer service and information to patrons and prep for next shift. Including money audits, supply checks, verifying the cashier has all needed paperwork to complete their duties u2022 Ensure quality service, customer satisfaction, clean facility areas, and a safe work environment A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
