Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify invoices, ensuring all payments are accurately coded and recorded. u2022 Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers. u2022 Review and resolve discrepancies in invoices or payment records. u2022 Utilize Yardi Property Management software to manage financial transactions effectively. u2022 Maintain detailed records of accounts payable activities for auditing and reporting purposes. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and classification of expenses. u2022 Prepare and distribute payment reports to management as needed. u2022 Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and resolve issues professionally. u2022 Assist in streamlining accounts payable processes to improve efficiency. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in coding invoices and processing payments. u2022 Strong expertise in check runs and invoice management. u2022 Familiarity with Yardi Property Management software is highly preferred. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. u2022 Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and team members. u2022 Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in accounts payable.
