As a member of the First Circuit Security team, you will provide security for the judges, attorneys, and support staff of the court. Daily duties include: Greeting and processing all visitors to the courthouse through security checkpoints u2022 Monitoring courthouse surveillance operations u2022 Guarding the courthouse main entrance u2022 Responding to on-site security-related situations and coordinating with emergency personnel u2022 Patrolling and securing the courthouse and its immediate grounds Requirements for the job are: u2022 Three years of law enforcement experience u2022 Current P.O.S.T. certification from an accredited Louisiana Law Enforcement Agency u2022 Professional demeanor and discretion are a must Candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the duties described above, pass a background check, possess a valid state driveru2019s license, and have basic computer skills. The starting salary range is $36,157-$41,000.
