Job Summary:The Deburring Inspector is responsible for inspecting and finishing cast metal parts by removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining product integrity and readiness for further manufacturing processes in the automotive casting industry.Key Responsibilities:- Inspect casted automotive parts for burrs, flash, rough edges, and surface defects.- Perform deburring using hand tools, grinders, files, pneumatic tools, or tumblers.- Follow technical specifications, blueprints, and quality standards for each part.- Ensure all finished parts meet dimensional and visual quality requirements.- Report non-conformities and defects to supervisors or quality control.- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring tools and equipment are properly used and stored.- Record inspection results and maintain documentation for quality assurance.- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Requirements:- Experience in deburring, grinding, or finishing in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or metal casting.- Strong attention to detail and quality.- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or work instructions.- Manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools.- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.- E-Verify eligibility required.Work Environment:- Fast-paced production floor- Exposure to noise, dust, and metal shavings- Use of PPE including gloves, goggles, and ear protection
