Location This position will be based out of he Greater NY/NJ area. Responsibilities u2022 Supervise the crew(s) and craft workers in the application of all projects. u2022 Managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence. u2022 Collaborate with engineers, Job teams, etc. to determine project needs. u2022 Utilize equipment, material, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs in assigned responsibility. u2022 Set performance goals and deadlines. u2022 Coordinate and interface effectively with superintendents and Foreman to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence. u2022 Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate. u2022 Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor needs, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc. u2022 Keep track of material stock and orders. u2022 Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Companyu2019s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies. u2022 Perform additional ad hoc assignments per managements direction. Qualifications u2022 10+ yearsu2019 experience in the construction industry, with at least 5-10 years in a supervisory role. u2022 Must have experience and professional knowledge of heavy civil infrastructure, marine infrastructure is preferred. o Ideal candidate will have project experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges or other waterfont structures. u2022 Must be able to run multiple crews across various construction scopes. u2022 Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents. u2022 Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance. u2022 General computer skills required, Microsoft Office proficiency (Word and Excel). u2022 Organizational and time-management skills. u2022 Experience with cranes is preferred. u2022 Must have ability to manage and inspire others. u2022 High School Diploma/GED required. #LI-LH1 Working Conditions Other Requirements: + Regular, reliable attendance + Work productively and meet deadlines timely + Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. + Perform work safely and effectively.
