We are extremely competitive externally, but not internally.This highly visible position is located at our Vancouver, WA Facility.What you'll do:This position will be responsible for performing custodial duties throughout the VMS Plant including offices, manufacturing, packaging, blend, warehouses, parking lots, and grounds.Essential Functions:Follow Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain facilities in a clean and orderly condition.Work in clean rooms, warehouses, and production environments.Use a variety of cleaning utensils and equipment including floor scrubbers.Perform routine cleaning tasks such as wiping down furniture walls and doors; scrubbing toilets; washing windows; sweeping and mopping floors; and emptying out trash cans.Perform high cleaning in a scissor lift as needed.Replenish kitchen and bathroom supplies.Report supply needs to supervisor.Elevate sanitation needs to plete cleaning work orders in a timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned.What you'll need:High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year experience.Ability to assist in keeping the buildings and grounds clean and orderly.Ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards.Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
