DescriptionAcara Solutions has been providing advanced manufacturing firms with our contract and direct hire staffing services for almost 70 years. Our Everett, WA (near Boeing plant) manufacturing client has a direct opening for an Assistant Maintenance Manager. Target salary $110K-$115K. This is a Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM shift (up to an hour flexibility on start time).They are looking for someone with industrial / manufacturing machinery experience along with HVAC, mechanical, electrical maintenance experience that has a history managing maintenance staff.The Assistant Maintenance Manager will primarily be responsible for managing the maintenance team and coordinating repair and maintenance schedules. An ideal candidate would be mechanically savvy, enjoy solving problems and have excellent communication skills.Maintains positive engagement with employees.Reviews job orders to determine priorities.Engages with production teams to ensure production mechanical needs are met.Monitors and maintains maintenance management database and assigns work orders vestigates and reports on corrective action plans for continuous improvement.Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan maintenance activities.Directs training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint with company policies and procedures.Confers with management, engineering and quality control departments to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.Maintains a strong motivated maintenance team and is responsible for hiring, performance, etc.Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred)Min 7 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining manufacturing machinery (mechanical & electrical & HVAC).Min 3 years of maintenance employee management experience.Preferred:A plus to have PLCs / industrial controls exposureAleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
