The job entails working in diverse industrial and manufacturing settings, with tasks ranging from machinery installation and complete facility relocations to plant maintenance and renovations, and upgrades to water/wastewater treatment systems.Successful candidates will be stationed at Kinsley's Field Operations office in York, PA, while also being required to travel within the mid-Atlantic region for project assignments. If you are a skilled Industrial Pipefitter looking for dynamic opportunities in a progressive company, we invite you to join the Kinsley team and contribute to our exciting projects.Typical Responsibilities / Essential FunctionsMust be able to read and comprehend drawings, piping schematics and system designsMust have experience utilizing cutting, threading and welding equipmentWill be working with a wide range of materials including PVC, HDPE, copper, steel, stainless steel and ductile ironUndertake maintenance and repair activities for existing process systemsPrioritize and uphold a commitment to working safely, utilizing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adhering to all safety rules and proceduresContribute to the implementation of safety methods and practices within the work environmentCan work independently with little to no supervisionPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsA high school diploma or GED is mandatory; additional secondary education is appreciated and will be factored into the determination of the pay scale3-5 years of relevant experience is a prerequisite for this positionProficiency in comprehending construction drawings is essentialPossession of a valid Driver's License is a requirementFamiliarity with or a willingness to learn and adhere to OSHA and MSHA safety regulations is crucialStrong math and problem-solving skills are fundamentalExcellent communication skills and a positive attitude for daily customer interactionAbility to be a self-starter, working independently with minimal supervisionCapacity to multitask effectively in a high-speed environmentPhysical capability to lift objects weighing up to 75 poundsComfort and experience working at heightsWillingness to learn and/or assist in other tradesFlexibility to work some weekends as neededWE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer - Females, Minorities, Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities are encouraged to apply.
