Job Description Overview This position is contingent upon contract award SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Generator Technician to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location. Essential Job Duties + Capable of troubleshooting engines, fuel systems, controls, and generators using prints, + diagrams, and specifications. + Capable of maintaining and operating megawatt rated high amperage and high voltage generators. + Knowledge of working with and monitoring contracted maintenance services. + Provide guidance and oversight for any person under their supervision. + Willingness to work on-call, rotational shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Qualifications Minimum Requirements + Active in scope Secret security clearance. + High school diploma or equivalent, vocational or trade school graduate or equivalent apprenticeship. + Minimum eight (8) years of generator maintenance experience, three (3) of which in a lead or supervisory role. Additional Information Work Environment + Must reside at an overseas location. + Long hours, exposure to harsh weather and other hazardous conditions. + Wearing of location appropriate PPE and clothing when in the field is required.
