Job Overview The Senior Search Specialist will work closely with the Director and multiple teams within the Marketing and Communications departments to implement and optimize our search strategy across both organic and paid. The Senior Search Specialist will oversee and support teams for all SEO activities such as keyword strategy, content structure and link building to increase organic search rankings and drive search traffic from Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines. Also, the Senior Search Specialist must have the ability to create and oversee paid ad campaigns while continually analyzing and optimizing for performance. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Qualifications EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business. EXPERIENCE - Five years of freelance/contractor/agency experience. Strongly Preferred Skills and Experience: 3+ years creating and supporting SEO and SEM strategies. Experience managing or overseeing PPC campaigns. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Excellent grammar and communication skills. High attention to detail. Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition. Strong organizational skills and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience with estimating level of effort to perform project and/or tasks. Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, the Google Suite, Google Tools, and familiarity with all popular browsers. Must enjoy working in diverse subject matter. Good critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Ability to work well with others and exercise good judgement.
