Description Accountant - Hybrid We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting critical accounting functions. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries. u2022 Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. u2022 Manage and maintain balance sheet accounts with precision. u2022 Oversee fixed asset inventory and ensure proper documentation. u2022 Process and review Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions. u2022 Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances. u2022 Update and maintain the general ledger with accurate data. u2022 Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with accounting standards. u2022 Utilize NetSuite software for financial tracking and reporting. u2022 Support audits and provide necessary documentation when required. Requirements Requirements: u2022 Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. u2022 Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. u2022 Strong knowledge of journal entries and month-end close procedures. u2022 Familiarity with fixed asset inventory management. u2022 Hands-on experience using NetSuite or similar accounting software. u2022 Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
