Offering a $2,500 sign on bonusUnited Methodist Youth Home is looking for a full time Clinical Supervisor to lead our Behavioral Health teamThe Clinical Supervisor is supervised by the Director of Programs and works closely with the Therapists, Care Coordinator and Group Home Managers.The Clinical Supervisor shall:1. Be familiar with all UMYH policies and procedures for the Residential Treatment Program, Aftercare and Day Reporting2. Have knowledge of DBT and ART as well as various treatment models and therapy modalities.3. Oversee treatment components in the Residential programs.4. Review records and documentation of services and assessments, treatment plans, service notes, and monthly reports.5. Provides clinical supervision and consultation to therapists.6. Participates and provides clinical input in team meetings.7. When providing therapy to youth in the residential programs the following will occur:a) Completing the following assessments of a resident's placement:i. Childhood Trust Events Surveyii. Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaireb) Completing the Social Assessment of a resident's placement.c) Completing the CANS Assessment of a resident's placement.i. Completing the CANS Assessment during placement.ii. Completing the CANS Assessment of a resident's discharge from the program.d) Completing the Initial Treatment Plan of a resident's placement, including resident's history, presenting problems, treatment goals and objectives, interventions and diagnoses.i. Each Therapist is responsible for ensuring that the Initial Treatment Plan is sent to the placing agency .e) Completing the Monthly Treatment Plan Reviews for each resident, including progress towards treatment goals, current diagnoses, and interventions.i. The Therapist Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the Monthly Treatment Plan Reviews are sent to the placing agency , in regards to the previous month's progress.f) Completing a Revised Treatment Plan for each resident, including updating treatment goals and objectives, interventions, and diagnoses .g) Ensuring all aspects of the Treatment Plans are accurate, complete with all signatures, and submitted to the placing agency in a timely manner.h) Conducting and documenting individual therapy with each youth and more frequently as needed.i. Work with youth on developing:- Healthy, effective coping skills- Conflict resolution skills- Anger management skills- Symptom management (PTSD, ODD, Anxiety, Depression, AD/HD, etc.- Psychoeducation- Impulse control skills- Improved self-esteem and self-worth- Improved compliance with authority figuresi) Observe group therapy with each therapist monthly to quarterly.a. Train therapists on relevant treatment modalities (ART and DBT).i) Conduct and document family therapy when the permanency plan is reunification.8. The Clinical Supervisor will provide a minimum of 10 billable hours .9. The Clinical Supervisor will maintain therapy records for all individual, group, and family therapy sessions.10. The Clinical Supervisor will maintain a cumulative record of all Medicaid prior authorizations.a) It is the Therapist's responsibility to apply to Medicaid for a prior authorization for additional therapy sessions to using all authorized sessions.11. The Clinical Supervisor will provide weekly supervision for the therapists for a minimum of 1 hour (1 hour for every 20-therapy hours).a) In these meetings, the Clinical Supervisor will:i. Review each youth who is receiving servicesii. Discuss the progress and effectiveness of therapy iii. Review the clinical staffing from the weekly Treatment Team meetingb) The supervision meetings will be documented and signed by the Clinical Supervisor and Therapist. A copy given to the HR Coordinator for the employee file.c) The Clinical Supervisor will have an NPI number in which services may be billed under.12. The Clinical Supervisor will attend all weekly meetings and monthly trainings.13. The Clinical Supervisor as well as the therapists will assist in providing training to staff, on topics such as: Trauma-Focused CBT; Trauma-Informed Care; Explanation of Diagnoses, Symptoms, and Interventions; Suicide Prevention; Identification of Child Abuse and Neglect; LGBTQ, etc.14. The Clinical Supervisor will work collaboratively with the Director of Programs to assess current programs, restructure existing programs and or develop new programs as necessary.15. The Clinical Supervisor as well as therapists are responsible for carrying the after office hours cell phone, on a rotating basis, in case of therapeutic crises. There are times in which the Clinical Supervisor is expected to come to campus:a) To help in handling crisis situationsb) Assessing a youth who may possibly be a danger to themselves or others and taking them to either Deaconess Cross Pointe or Deaconess Gateway for an assessment.16. Supervision of therapistsa) Hiring and training of new therapists when needed.b) Ensuring therapists are providing a minimum of 15 billable hours per week.c) Reviewing each therapists' progress notes.d) Provide clinical supervision for each therapist on a weekly basis.e) Reviewing and signing off on each treatment planf) Ensuring all therapists' licenses and credentials are current and up-to-date.g) Ensuring therapists complete all treatment plans, monthly reports, assessments, etc. accurately and on time.17. Supervising/Performance and Quality Improvementa) Supervisors are responsible for:i. Delegating and overseeing work assignments.ii. Ensuring that service delivery is performed according to the organization's mission, policies and procedures, and service philosophy.iii. Providing case consultation and in-service training, as appropriate.iv. Identifying unmet training needs.[]{style=
