Description Roseann Mabry from Robert Half is placing a Human Resource Assistant on a direct hire basis for a company located in St. Louis City. This 50 year old company is in growth mode. The Human Resource Assistant will be a liaison between the corporate office based out of state and the Plant Manager. The Human Resource Assistant will will report to the Human Resource Generalist and assist with daily training of new hires, people moving into new positions, and also help with employee relations that come up day to day. You will get to assist with benefit questions and performance management. They are also looking for someone that can speak Spanish to onboard some new hires coming into the company. Responsibilities: u2022 Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues. u2022 Administer and oversee employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate communication and enrollment processes. u2022 Provide guidance on performance management processes, including evaluations and development plans. u2022 Collaborate with the corporate office to align HR practices and policies with organizational goals. u2022 Conduct onboarding sessions and assist in training new employees, including Spanish-speaking team members. u2022 Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance. u2022 Investigate employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions. u2022 Support the plant manager with HR-related tasks and initiatives to enhance workforce engagement. u2022 Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies across all HR functions. u2022 Facilitate communication between the local plant and corporate office to address HR needs effectively. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably within a manufacturing environment. + Training + Proficiency in HRIS systems and related software. u2022 Strong knowledge of employee relations and workplace investigations. u2022 Experience in benefits administration and performance management. u2022 Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. u2022 Solid understanding of labor laws and HR compliance standards. u2022 Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
