This position would be directly responsible for ensuring a high-quality safe product; while minimizing damage, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment and practices. The Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for working in multiple positions which could be at any Bama facility. Essential Job Functions/Job Responsibilities: Please see People Systems or online job posting for complete Job Description Duties: u2022Understand Shipping / Receiving and warehouse processes and possess the ability to drive continuous improvement. u2022Ensure all paperwork is filled out and processed correctly for area of responsibility. u2022Assist in Troubleshooting failures and identify corrective actions. u2022Must actively participate in other plant initiatives (i.e., safety programs, quality audits, productivity) with the responsibility for self and others. u2022Understand quality standards, follow those standards and knowing what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly. u2022Be responsible for GMP's of self and others in work area. u2022Understand Manufacturing guidelines for food safety, food security, and sanitation. u2022Responsible for daily housekeeping of the warehouse Minimum Qualifications: u2022Must be able to complete the certification process in a minimum of 2 warehouse functions such as: Bulk receiving, Line Support (Line Driver and Freezer Input), Shipping/Receiving, Inventory clerk, & Shuttle Driver u2022 Must participate in accident investigation and completion of follow-up reporting. u2022Understanding of the MER process u2022Understand and follows the COA process u2022Understand quality standards, follow those standards and knowing what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly. u2022Understand Manufacturing guidelines for food safety, food security and sanitation. Required Qualifications: u2022Understand warehouse guidelines for food safety and sanitation. u2022Computer skills in AS400, Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel, and Email. u2022Experience with sit down and stand-up forklift operation. u2022Experience with Inventory control process. u2022Demonstrated problem solving ability. u2022Must have proven safety record in past work history.
