Voith Paper is hiring for:Assembly Millwright I Appleton, WI Shift is Monday-Thursday,4:30am-2:30pm. Pay rate betwen $20/hour-$30/hour Summary: AssemblyRepair Mechanic are responsible to complete scheduled and routinemaintenance work along with performing many other duties. Duties for theabove, but are not restricted to, preventative/predictive maintenance,tearing down rotating assemblies diagnosing failure and writing upreport. Assembling machine/ rotating assembly once all parts are fixedback to OEM condition Responsibilities: Read blueprints, drawings,measure for bearing clearance and shaft diameters using inside/outsidemics, and Romer Arm. Dismantle machines as needed Move and alignmachinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucksUtilize hoist, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools Operate cranes,and fork lifts Use large bearing puller, torch, and light TIG weldingInstall machinery; new and existing equipment, mill site if neededTrouble shoot equipment reliability issues Requirements: Minimum highschool diploma or have a GED equivalent Flexibility to work any shiftsto meet mill needs Continue to develop skills to become a multi-skillmechanic (including millwright, welding, and other fields as needed)Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty,around hazardous chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery or elevatedworking surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection)Personally exhibit safety as a core value and effectively communicate ashared vision for safety Represent both company policy and directionDevelop knowledge of department and mill operations processes, equipmentand systems Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWork effectively...
