Description We are looking for a highly experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a construction firm located in Stamford, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes, while demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks Online. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and team members. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing. u2022 Oversee payroll operations, including hourly payroll, to ensure compliance and accuracy. u2022 Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and record financial transactions. u2022 Collaborate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues. u2022 Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making. u2022 Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. u2022 Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives. u2022 Provide support for other accounting-related tasks as needed. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 7 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within the construction industry. u2022 Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Experience with hourly payroll operations is highly desirable. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with vendors and team members. u2022 Solid understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation. u2022 Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
