Overview Job Summary Details: The Floor Tech is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning. Also responsible for using safety measures in work areas. Duties also include assisting the Building/Account Lead with special projects including but not limited to, setups, breakdowns, move in/ move outs). Willing to complete other duties as assigned. Pay: $20.00 The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. u2022 Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds u2022 Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications u2022 Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors u2022 Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment u2022 Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs u2022 Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems u2022 Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. u2022 Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities u2022 Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
