Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position plays a vital role in managing vendor payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify a high volume of vendor invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures. u2022 Prepare and execute payments through electronic transfers, checks, and other approved methods. u2022 Communicate with vendors to address and resolve payment discrepancies and inquiries. u2022 Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution. u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records for audit and reporting purposes. u2022 Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and supporting documentation. u2022 Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and regulatory requirements. u2022 Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries promptly. u2022 Collaborate with internal departments to streamline accounts payable processes. u2022 Manage vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
