This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Homes in Montpelier, VT is seeking a service writer &coordinator with construction or building experience to join our this role, you'll be the main point of contact for our customers andtenants, coordinating service work for manufactured and modular homesthroughout Vermont and New Hampshire, as well as apartment rentals inCentral Vermont. Understanding construction terminology, buildingsystems, and common home maintenance issues is essential. You'll greetcustomers, assess their service needs, schedule appointments, createservice orders, and work closely with our service technicians toprioritize jobs. The position also includes maintaining customerrecords, tracking parts and materials, and occasionally being on-callfor emergency service calls. We're looking for someone with hands-onconstruction, trades, or property maintenance experienceideal candidatesmight have backgrounds in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or homeinspection. You should also have strong customer service skills,excellent organization, and be comfortable using computers andscheduling software. This is a part-time position paying $25 per hour,approximately 2030 hours per week. The work includes desk work, customerinteraction by phone/email/in-person, and occasional site visits.
