Description 55,000 - 75,000 benefits include: + health insurance + paid time off Responsibilities + Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements + Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls + Analyze financial data and provide insights to management + Support audits and liaise with external auditors + Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes Requirements u2022 4+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably at the assistant controller level within retail or manufacturing. u2022 Hands-on experience in treasury management, including investor distributions and banking activities. u2022 Proficiency in preparing financial statements and partnership-related documents such as K-1s and trust letters. u2022 Ability to read and interpret complex legal documents, including agreements and contracts. u2022 Familiarity with entity formation and dissolution processes, including compliance with state regulations. u2022 Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial data. u2022 Knowledge of partnership waterfalls and priority distributions is preferred. u2022 Experience with Yardi accounting software and investor relations is a plus.
