Join us atwww.stagwellglobal.com.Assist in the preparation of SEC 10-Q/K filings including preparing and reviewing financial statements and footnotes.Prepare and review quarterly close workpapers and analysis for input into the financial statements - Areas include but are not limited to: Stock-based compensation, Equity, Deferred acquisition consideration, Redeemable noncontrolling interests, Earnings per share, Goodwill impairment, Purchase accounting, and Noncontrolling interests.Prepare quarterly and annual GAAP and SEC disclosure checklistsProvide guidance on technical accounting questions from subsidiary CFOs and Controllers.Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide audit deliverables as needed and ensure compliance with internal controls.Assist in monitoring and ensuring timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting and SEC guidance, provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memoranda that document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner.Participate in SOX 404 controls walkthroughs and provide support in SOX testing coordination between process owners, internal auditors and external auditors.Maintain internal controls for reporting processes and SEC filings.Lead/participate in special projects and accounting transactional items as assigned.CPA requiredIn depth knowledge and experience with US GAAPKnowledge/experience with internal controls (SOX 404)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate dataExperience in accounting and reporting systems such as OneStream, Maconomy, or similar ERP platformsExcellent communications & interpersonal skills to work with all levels of personnel, including Executive ManagementExcellent writing skills and experience writing technical accounting memorandaAbility to evaluate and identify inefficiencies, draft, and support development of action plans to correct inefficienciesAbility to independently analyze various information and propose resolutionMust have strong analytical skills, be deadline driven and have attention to detailExcellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentIn addition to medical, dental and vision coverage, we offer a generous PTO plan, 401k program, comprehensive family planning benefits (including paid parental leave), tuition reimbursement, and pre-tax commuter benefits.
