Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Piperton, Tennessee. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing invoice processing, resolving discrepancies, and supporting reconciliation tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Process a high volume of invoices daily, including drop shipments and stock items. u2022 Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices to ensure accurate inventory management. u2022 Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by performing detailed problem-solving. u2022 Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and quality teams to identify and address issues. u2022 Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective resolutions. u2022 Utilize software tools, including cloud-based systems, to streamline accounts payable tasks. u2022 Perform basic Excel functions such as creating formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. u2022 Support reconciliation efforts, addressing backlogs and audit-related tasks. u2022 Proactively ask questions and suggest improvements to enhance processes. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable functions, including invoice coding and processing. u2022 Strong skills in resolving account discrepancies and addressing audit findings. u2022 Familiarity with 3-way matching for purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices. u2022 Proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. u2022 Ability to process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration. u2022 Comfortable with using software tools and adapting to cloud-based systems. u2022 Strong analytical abilities for problem-solving and process improvement.
