From your PASSION to ours Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring aLogistics Financial Accountant Analystbased in Buffalo, NY. As a Logistics Financial Accountant Analyst, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to analyzing and reporting on freight financials and facilitating freight invoice payments . The role includes Analysis, Reporting, Research, Reconciliations, Communication, and Systems Management. Additionally, the Logistics Financial Analyst will collaborate with Transportation Management, Controllership, 3rd Party Logistics Providers, Management Control, and Company Leadership to align duties with the company's goals and values. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: u00b7 Analyze Freight Financials and Freight Budgets u00b7 Assess Market Trends and Financial Reports for Analysis u00b7 Coordinate Meetings with Carriers & 3rd Party Logistics Providers as Needed u00b7 Create Variance Analysis on Freight Financials, and other Logistics Financial Cost Centers u00b7 Design Analysis Templates and other Key Performance Indicators u00b7 Develop SOPs and Process Documentation as Required u00b7 Facilitate the Payment of Freight Invoices u00b7 Implement Changes Directed by Manager and Leadership u00b7 Lead Meetings as Needed u00b7 Manage Systems Such as Transportation Management Systems, Financial Costing Systems, and Other Relevant Systems u00b7 Monitor Email, and Other Forms of Electronic Communication u00b7 Organize Daily and Weekly Activities to Meet Deadlines u00b7 Prepare Ad-Hoc Reports and Analysis as Needed u00b7 Report on Freight Variances and Budgetary Items u00b7 Resolve Issues in Freight Payables u00b7 Review Systems for Data Accuracy and Completeness u00b7 Train other Team Members on Relevant Processes as Needed u00b7 Update Manager, Accounting, and Leadership as Needed WORK CONDITIONS u00b7 Travel may be required occasionally. u00b7 Extended hours may be necessary depending on the project needs. u00b7 To fulfill these responsibilities, tools such as a computer, phone or, and / or allowance(s) will be provided. u00b7 Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential duties and responsibilities. u00b7 This position requires physical presence in the office, in accordance with the guidelines of the Hybrid Work Policy. u00b7 Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment that promotes the health and well-being of all employees and that will further contribute to the Companyu2019s overall performance and success. Requirements From your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Education & Experience u00b7 Bachelor's degree is required. u00b7 A major in Finance, Supply Chain, or Accounting is preferred. u00b7 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred. Skills / Abilities / Specialized Knowledge u00b7 Knowledge of Freight/Logistics Financials is required. u00b7 Understanding of Freight Invoicing and Payables are required.
