Express Employment Professionals of Buffalo and Niagara are recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator for a manufacturer of above ground steel tanks and accessories in Buffalo, NY! Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Payrate: $22-25/hr BOE Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform all duties in accordance with current safety standards Must be able to operate overhead cranes, and hoists using chain and fabric slings to secure and lift heavy loads. Must be able to operate electric and manual pallet truck, forklift, and farm tractor. Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding. Operate grinders, saws, brake, ironworker, and drill press. Layout, position, roll, align, and fit components together. Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding. Set up equipment and weld parts, using Fluxcore welding Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, technical sketches, and specifications Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. Assist in loading and unloading trucks as necessary Perform periodic maintenance on departmental equipment Other duties as assigned and requested.
