Description Specialized New York City firm is currently seeking a Bookkeeper. This role requires someone who is highly attentive to detail, excels at managing financial transactions, ensures accuracy, and maintains organized records. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage billing processes using Integra, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice entry and payment processing. u2022 Review incoming invoices for accuracy and validity before entering them into the system. u2022 Handle full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded. u2022 Prepare and execute check runs, including cutting checks and applying credits as necessary. u2022 Monitor and reconcile credit card purchases and payments, maintaining accurate records. u2022 Stay on top of credit applications, reviews, and adjustments to ensure proper account management. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for auditing and reporting purposes. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial policies. Requirements u2022 1+ year of experience in bookkeeping or related financial roles. u2022 Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to verify the accuracy of invoices and transactions.
