Support the development, implementation and the use of the computerized Asset Management System, Manage the operation of facilities and support the bus operating departments to include CNG facilities within budget. Provide oversight of construction/maintenance work by contractors and internal resources. Administers labor agreement practices, disciplinary matters and employee development. Responsible for identifying, monitoring, and correcting safety conditions and violations. Incumbents may be assigned multiple locations and/or the larger or more technologically advanced facilities. Incumbents may also be assigned to MTA Bus Facilities. Education and Experience 1. Seven (7) years of related experience, at least three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory/managerial capacity. 2. Must have one (1) year of previous experience in the title of Superintendent or an equivalent title; or 3. A satisfactory equivalent of the combined education and experience requirements. Desired Skills + Knowledge of building maintenance, preventive maintenance procedures, pay practices, material costs, building trades, NYCT labor contracts and final inspection construction procedures. + Knowledge of alternative fuel vehicles and their correspon d ing storage and fueling needs.
