Description We are looking for a skilled and experienced (5-10+ yrs) Legal Word Processor to join our team fully on-site in New York, New York for the 6PM-1AM SHIFT. In this role, you will provide critical support to legal teams by ensuring accurate document preparation and formatting. This temporary position offering an excellent opportunity for growth within the legal field. There will be training provided for the first week from 9AM - 5PM or 10AM - 6PM. Car service is provided at the end of the shift. Responsibilities: u2022 Create, edit, and format legal or other business documents with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Utilize advanced features in Microsoft Word and iManage to work on legal or other business documents. u2022 Manage PDFs using Foxit, including editing and organizing files. u2022 Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain the quality of deliverables. u2022 Provide reliable and timely support to a busy department with changing priorities. Requirements u2022 Proven experience (5-10+ yrs) in word processing, preferably in corporate, legal, or professional settings. u2022 Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures. u2022 Familiarity with opposing counsel and law department workflows. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Proficiency in relevant software tools such as, Microsoft Word, iManage, and Foxit, for document preparation and management. u2022 Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
