Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic real estate brokerage team in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping and administrative tasks while supporting a high-volume real estate portfolio. If interested, please email your resume to : Administrative & Bookkeeping Assistant Location: Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 Structure: Onsite in the beginning (flexible after onboarding) Salary: $45,000-$50,000 salary - Based on qualifications Benefits: Health Insurance (BCBS) and PTO (all bank holidays plus 2 weeks vacay u2013 very flexible) Responsibilities: u2022 Perform data entry tasks to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including tracking expenses and reconciling payments. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to maintain organized financial records and generate reports as needed. u2022 Prepare and audit documentation submitted by field-service providers to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Monitor real estate transactions and provide regular updates on their status. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to assignments, ensuring timely and efficient completion. u2022 Track and report key performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis. u2022 Collaborate with senior management to support the daily operations of the real estate portfolio. u2022 Assist in maintaining communication with a nationwide network of real estate agents and service providers. u2022 Contribute to quality control efforts by reviewing and validating work submissions. Requirements u2022 At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related bookkeeping roles. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. u2022 Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. u2022 Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Familiarity with real estate processes and terminology is preferred but not required. u2022 Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is advantageous. u2022 Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
