Job Description

We are looking for that "special someone" who wants to join a dynamic team in Honoring God through Excellent Service to Seniors! We, at Everlan Independent Living, are in need of a Fulltime Receptionist who can work 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 7am to 3pm daily. You will be "giving out smiles" and "extending helping hands" to visitors and our residents. We need someone with an outgoing personality, gentle soul, and a giant love for the senior population. Is that you? Summary of Responsibility: Answer the telephone and greet visitors in a pleasant and professional manner. Receive packages that are delivered to the community for residents and contact residents to pick up their packages, handle other clerical and administrative work as assigned by any of the team leaders. Assist serving and bussing tables in the dining room when the dining room needs assistance. Deliver meals to resident apartments as needed. Be the "Over All Gal or Guy Friday" at Everlan Independent Living. Duties: 1. Greet visitors at our community front concierge desk in a pleasant and professional manner. 2. Triage incoming calls and ensure questions and needs are directed to the appropriate person. 3. Serve as community ambassador to visitors; answer general questions from potential residents andinquiring families and provide informational brochures and packets as requested. 4. Perform administrative and clerical support tasks for community, including updating resident and community binders, and distributing mail. 5. Develops and maintains service relationships to fulfill the needs of residents, guests, or employees. 6. Creates name badges for New Hires Education, Experience, Licensure/Certification, Age Requirement: 1. High school diploma or GED equivalent 2. One year of office experience 3. Hospitality orientated with excellent communication and customer service skills 4. Professional appearance and demeanor. 5. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. 6. Proficiency with computer software, applications, and basic typing skills. 7. Flexibility with schedule including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 8. Must enjoy working with the senior population. 9. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. 10. Approved criminal background check and drug screen are required. Additional Duties: 1. Assists with community special events, including outreach to the greater community. 2. Lives the Everlan Independent Living culture in all aspects of the position; demonstrates the Everlan Independent Living L.O.V.E. model and professionalism when interacting with residents, resident representatives, team members, and the general public. 4. Engages in open communication within and between community departments and iscooperative. 5. Attends and actively participates in team meetings as required or optional continuing educationprograms. 6. Assists in the evacuation of residents as necessary. 7. Maintains the confidentiality of all resident information and honors the residents personalproperty rights. 8. Maintains a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation ofequipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. 9. Performs any other duties that may be assigned by the Executive Director or other Team Leaders.
