Apply Today Job Summary and Qualifications Job Summary and Qualifications The Activity Therapist is responsible for providing expressive therapy services to patients, as a member of a multidisciplinary team and in accordance with Live Oaksu2019 activity therapy work policy. Expressive therapy interventions are focused on helping the patient develop a stronger sense of self by promoting the identification and expression of feelings through participation in the creation and sharing of personal work, to include visual art, dance/movement, poetry, writing, drama or music. Specific Job Functions: u00b7 Complete activity therapy assessments. u00b7 Provide group and individual expressive therapy sessions appropriate to client needs. u00b7 Display professionalism in dealing with customers, staff and clinicians. u00b7 Complete assignments in a timely manner. u00b7 Complete documentation in a timely manner. u00b7 Follow all hospital policies and procedures. u00b7 Attend and participate in monthly activity therapy staff meetings. u00b7 Attend and participate in weekly clinical supervision. u00b7 Work with the interdisciplinary team in meeting treatment goals u00b7 May perform other duties as assigned.
