Job Summary and Qualifications Under the direction of a Chaplain Supervisor, the Chaplain Resident provides pastoral services M-F with 8-hour-per-day accountability to thedually accredited CPE program.College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP)and Clinical Pastoral Education, International (CPEI)accreditedthis CPE program. Serves in a 24-7 rotation of Duty Chaplain andparticipatesinrotation ofon-callresponsibilities. Uses CPE to increase competence as a service providerdemonstratingincrementally the satiation of CPE’sspecificobjectivesand outcomes for the type of training engaged. Collaborates withphysicians,nurses,and other departments and staff, including community clergy, to meetthereligious,sacerdotal,and spiritual needs of patients and families. Provides formal support services as ministry, including those standardized by the departments, e.g.:spirituality groups, new admit visits,coderesponse,notarizingadvancemedicaldirectives, memberof the interdisciplinary team, and serves in a variety of other specialized ways which supports themission of HCA. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degreerequiredfrom ATS accredited Seminary, Divinity, or Rabbinic School, or equivalent graduate and post-graduate studies. A Master of.
