Pantry Attendant - Palantir- NYC Requisition #: 622040 Location: New York, NY, US, 10011 Career Area: Food Service Description: Job Description The Refreshments Operator I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by ensuring that our customersu2019 products are stocked appropriately. Ensure that customers' equipment is always operating properly, cleaned, and notify them of any new offers that may be of interest to them. Compensation Data COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $21.00 to $23.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. Job Responsibilities u2022 Unload and stock daily inventory at customer site, ensuring freshness of products by monitoring date codes u2022 Manage the ordering, delivery, and stocking of items at client location u2022 Communicate with customer's employees about new product interest u2022 Use a laptop computer to manage stocking PAR levels, product orders and client invoicing u2022 Performs repairs to best of ability. u2022 Calls in orders and service calls to head office. u2022 Distributes promotional materials and merchandises complete product line. u2022 Cleans equipment and exchanges decanters on each visit. u2022 Communicates with Route Sales Manager or General Manager regarding customers and reports on pending problems or on evidence of competitors in customer locations. u2022 Establishes and maintains a good working relationship and liaison with customers to project a positive image of the company and product. Qualifications u2022 One to two years of experience in a position requiring interpersonal skills and customer service skills u2022 High School Diploma or G.E.D. required u2022 Client interaction, communication, organization/time management are critical to the success of this role. u2022 Ability to respond quickly to changing demands. u2022 Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills u2022 Must have a valid driveru2019s license and acceptable driving record. u2022 Must possess the ability to work efficiently and independently. u2022 Must be willing to travel to other locations to assist with short notice. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
