Responsibilities + Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture medical device parts. + Participate in a week-long training class on industrial sewing machines. + Work on the production floor with a mentor to learn the production process. + Set up sewing machines with the correct thread. + Increase production count to expected output levels within 13 weeks. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Sit for extended periods to operate sewing machines. + Seek assistance or call maintenance if an issue arises with the sewing machine. + Ensure products meet quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with GMP and medical device production is a plus. + No acrylic/permanent nails. + No jewelry, except wedding bands without stones. + Permanent piercings must be covered by a mask. + No lotions or creams on the production floor. + Use of a clear plastic bottle with a lock (approved or available for purchase). Flexible shifts are available: 1st Shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with voluntary early starts and Saturday hours available; 2nd Shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with similar voluntary options.
