Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Holland, Michigan. This part-time, remote position offers flexibility while requiring a high level of precision and organization to manage financial tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable tasks, including invoice management, purchase order matching, and statement reconciliation. u2022 Prepare and record journal entries while maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger. u2022 Assist with month-end financial close activities, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and data is up-to-date. u2022 Manage payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. u2022 Generate and analyze accounting and financial reports as needed. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and support operational needs. u2022 Organize and maintain both digital and physical financial records in a structured manner. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a remote setting. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software, with strong preference for QuickBooks expertise. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formula usage. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized work habits. u2022 Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and uphold confidentiality standards. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills.
