Join our team today!Position title: Healthcare Data AnalystJob summary: Essen Health Care is seeking a junior-level Analyst with a solid foundation in data to support the Operations Manager within the Cardio Vascular Division. This on-site role is well-suited for a candidate in the early stages of their career who is comfortable with data analysis and visualization and motivated to contribute to operational performance and data-informed decision-making in a healthcare setting.Data Collection & ManagementCollect, clean,validate, and organize operational data from internal systems.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across datasets and reports.Maintain structured datasets to support recurring and ad-hoc analysis.Data Analysis & ReportingPerform quantitative and qualitative analysis toidentifytrends, variances, and improvement opportunities.Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports to support operational tracking and planning.Support KPI monitoring and performance analysis under the guidance of the Operations Manager.Data Visualization & InsightsDevelop andmaintaindashboards and reports usingPower BI.Present data findings in a clear and structured manner.Translate data into meaningful insights that support operational and business decisions.Operations & Team SupportWork closely with the Operations Manager on day-to-day analytical tasks and projects.Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to understand data needs and definitions.Respond to data and reporting requests accurately and within established timelines.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Operations, ora related field.Strong foundational understanding of data concepts, including data structures, data quality, and basic data modeling.ProficiencyinMicrosoft Excel(formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).Working knowledge ofSQLfor querying and extracting data.Experience usingPower BI(academic, internship, or project-based experience acceptable).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to clearly explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.Additional RequirementsMust be based in New York and able to work on-site full time.Authorized to work in the United States.Preferred QualificationsInternship, academicproject, or early professional experience involving data analysis or reporting.Exposure tohealthcare, operations, or performance analytics.Familiarity with KPIs and basic reporting frameworks.
