The Job: As a Sr Business Development Manager youu2019ll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team as a remote employee in Seattle, Washington. You will lead business development initiatives and on-going customer support activities of current and new customers and programs assuring the continued success of the business. Youu2019ll get to: + Lead and function as the catalyst to increase sales with assigned customers across all CAM locations. This will include leveraging existing relationships to open doors, fostering the relationships, increasing quoting activity and increasing revenue. + Develops, plans and executes effective short and long-term sales strategies to grow the business for assigned customer base. This includes creating and managing a sales pipeline that tracks key activities on critical targeted growth opportunities. + Create tailored customer plans and track progress to achieve targeted objectives for sustainability and growth. + Partner with Operations within CAM sites to develop consensus for strategic direction for individual customer campaigns. + Maintains current knowledge of industry data, build rates and trends. Be up to date on detailed customer knowledge, including competitive activity that would impact existing and potential customers. + Works with adjacent CAM functional areas (Marketing, Contracts and Legal) to successfully negotiate optimal customer contracts. + Utilizes quoting history, win rates and, customer feedback to provide accurate predictions of market prices by product family back to the individual businesses. + Identifies ways to market all the CAM businesses as one entity when it is beneficial, and individual businesses when it is not. + Ensures sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales organization. Develops new reporting tools as needed. Coordinates with sales leadership and other stakeholders to lead efficient and accurate sales force reporting initiatives. + Partners with senior leaders to identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch. You also have: + 5 years minimum experience working in roles within Aerospace Distribution, OEMu2019s or, sub-tier supply base. + Bacheloru2019s Degree in preferred, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent experience. + Aerospace professional with experience in Distribution and or MRO supply base with a track record of success in securing sustainable revenue with assigned Aerospace customer base preferred. + Strong acumen of Microsoft office products, i.e. Excel and PowerPoint preferred. + Ability to travel +25% within assigned territory of Texas, Florida, and the East Coast.
