Join our dedicated team as a Mobile Crisis Specialist II, where you'll respond to individuals in mental health crisis—either out in the community or onsite at University Health Emergency Department and clinics.What You'll Do:Provide fast, focused mental health support to individuals in crisisHelp people avoid unnecessary hospital stays or justice system involvementWork closely with a compassionate, skilled team to assess and stabilize situationsConnect clients with the right resources and next steps for recoveryWhat You Need:A Master’s degree (or higher) in social work, counseling, psychology, family therapy, or a related fieldMO LMSW (if you're a social worker)If working in Behavioral Health Inpatient: BLS certification requiredSolid understanding of psychiatric terms, diagnoses, and crisis interventionStrong communication, organization, and teamwork skillsGood judgment and flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentWillingness to complete training and meet driving requirements if applicableExperience working with diverse populationsFamiliarity with community mental health systems, crisis intervention, and relevant laws (like civil commitment and guardianship)
