Location: On-siteSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to support daily logistics operations at our medium-sized print facility. This entry-level role is responsible for receiving, handling, staging, and shipping incoming and outgoing materials. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with established shipping deadlines.Job Summary:Assists mailroom staff and customers. Maintains the mailroom by keeping the environment clean, organized, and stocked.Duties/Responsibilities:Assists with incoming and outgoing mail service.Sorts, logs, and distributes mail and packages. Processes outbound mail, assists customers with mail services, completes proper documents for all mail services, explains services, and suggests appropriate services to meet customers’ requirements.Assists with mail/package deliveries across campus as needed.Resupplies components on the mail meter and related equipment as necessary.Forwards and returns mail to sender as appropriate.Maintains a clean and organized working environment.Dusts and cleans surfaces, floors, and machinery throughout the mailroom, restocks, and organizes supplies.Assists with counter sales.Assists with the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly mailroom supply inventory and statistical tracking.Using a computer or other designated equipment, enters and assists with the processing of orders.Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to sort incoming and outgoing mail as directed.Ability to effectively communicate to assist employees and students.Ability to deal with stressful situations and different types of personalities in a calm manner.Ability to concentrate while doing many tasks at once.Ability to learn department account numbers and locations of mailboxes.Ability to use the telephone to assist customers and report malfunctions.Ability to learn basic operations of folding equipment, binding equipment, laminating equipment, mailing equipment and software, phone systems, Windows-based Computers, and other software programs as necessary.Ability to explain the services provided by the mailroom.Ability to complete assigned jobs.Ability to take direction from supervisors.Ability to lift and carry mail tubs, mail flats, and packages.Must obtain a valid Ohio driver’s license.What We OfferConsistent daytime schedule with weekends offHands-on training and opportunities to learn print production skillsStable work environment supporting a major clientGrowth opportunities within print production and operationsAbout UsIST Management is a business process outsourcing company. Additional responsibilities include:Produce printed materials including digital prints, large-format jobs, and finishing work (cutting, binding, laminating, folding, etc.)Operate and maintain print and finishing equipment according to proceduresPrepare digital files for print, ensuring proper formatting and quality standardsPerform quality control checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and client specificationsPackage, stage, and deliver completed jobs as requiredMaintain an organized production area and adhere to safety standardsCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and deadlinesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED and legal US authorization to work for any employerCompetency in performing multiple functional tasks; capable of lifting up to 55 poundsMS Office Suite skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
